why oh why, reminiscing a little here, it's five AM and I'm still wide awake. Brother's not home, he's over at his nanny's. I miss him a little already. Sister asked me a question that day, "So, you'll either most probably be in college in 2011, will you come back to my school's Fair?" I said I don't know. She continued, "Don't even think about bringing your boyfriend if you have one by then."

Kitson made me realize how beautiful the stars are. Yesterday mom came home late so brother went and open the door, he called me out to and he pointed at the sky. The first star I saw was the brightest one, the one that greeted us every morning before we go to school. Then my brother and I ended up lying on the car gazing at nightfall, the blanket of pretty stars. I didn't know it was that amazing. Joanne came out and see saw nothing. After we kept repeating how beautiful the stars were, she scrambled to get her spectacles and she too was amazed.

Mom came home just now and I showed her one of the chibis I drew, it went like this ;

Me : Guess what's this?
Mom : A cop?
Me : Yeah! (smirked at my sister because she said it looked nothing like a cop) How about this? (A nurse)
Mom : A nurse?
Me : Oh YES! (did the same thing to my sister again)
Mom : There's a nurse cap what else could it be? (said to my sister with a laugh)
Me : Muahahaha !
Mom : And they have eyes.
Me : Wha--?

The whole eye thing is because the models I sketched for my designs have NO EYES, why bother drawing the eyes when all that mattered was the dress. She kept insisting how they need eyes and all so now when I did the chibi they have eyes, she was impressed.

Yes, it's pathetic how I don't understand myself sometimes. Very frustrating but the more I look into it the more I tangle up things; nothing gets solved and I'm still stuck at point one, only with more things to explore. My life is pretty mush pointless. I have nothing to do, nothing to do and NOTHING TO DO. I can't just sit there and sketch dresses for the whole day. It started out pretty cool but it turned out pathetic. I want to go to school, this is not some crazy ass typing on my behalf. I really want to go to school. Get SPM over with and plan my life without stress hovering over my head. Back to being pathetic lifeless me, I'm going to go stuff myself with some books.

THE HOST

Finished 'The Host', it was too tempting. This is full of spoilers so, to those who haven't read (and would most probably read later on) don't continue.

I've got to say that 'The Host' is way better than the whole Twilight Saga, trust me, they're no sparkly human or vampires here, it's total sci-fi(?) . You've got love here surely, but it's so twisted and complicated and sweet all in one, you'll cry every time you read it(the love part, i mean). It's full of suspense, action and a little comedy here and there, mostly from Uncle Jeb. Ian O'Shea IS the best, though Jared Howe would most probably be the fan fave. I don't quite care, Ian's part was painful to read, to go on. Wandarer was an amazing alien(?) Doc was almost like Carlisle Cullen though, the whole compassionate and dedicated part. Kyle O'Shea was like Emmett Cullen, the big buff guy with an attitude but a big heart actually. Maggie and Sharon most probably... Rosalie, yeah. But Sharon's Melanie's cousin and she's married to Doc. I thought Ian would end up alone and suffer every time he sees Melanie with Jared, he'd grieve but thankfully (to cliche too) he ended up with Wandarer but in a different body. Oh so very sweet.

Souls from other planets get planted in human bodies in Earth and some world domination here. No one gets hurt but humans of course didn't want their body to be possessed and their memories blocked out, so they fight. Some get caught, like Melanie and they're planted with souls (the 'insertion' process) Melanie Stryder's body and part of her memories were used to trace the other humans she left behind. The soul in her, Wanderer started to love deeply for the two humans her body left, Jared Howe and Jaime Stryder, because of the memories and dreams of them Melanie gave out. Wanderer got all persuaded to find Jamie and Jared (of course Melanie was involved with the whole thinking and planning) went out to some desert near Tuscon, remembering some weird patterns of what looked like a map to Melanie (from Uncle Jed) it brought her out into the desert. She thought she was dying because there was no water left. Melanie thought she was 'dying' too, her memories at least, her body but with the soul in it. Luckily, Uncle Jeb saw her and saved her. The others didn't approve, though, because through her eyes they could see the silver in her eyes (possessed bodies have a tint of silver in their eyes because their own form is something silvery too) The others loathe Wanderer for possessing Melanie and treated her like crap. The Doc at first wanted to cut her open to try and get the soul out and free Melanie but Jeb didn't allow it, along with Jared because it was Melanie's body and he couldn't stand it if it failed like all the other possessed bodies they kidnapped. Ian almost strangled Wanderer to death but Jared stopped him, she in return(along with Melanie's will) stood in between Jared and Ian's fist after the straggle. They were shocked but thought it was just an act. They kept Wanderer imprisoned and Jared was the one guarding her, sometimes Uncle Jeb too. Uncle Jeb saw the Melanie in her and Jaime appeared and too saw Melanie in her. The two believed that a part of Melanie was still in the body, with Wanda(a nickname Uncle Jeb gave) When the guys and Jared went out to raid for more supplies for the population underground in some volcanic place, Uncle Jeb took Wanderer on a tour around, making her one of them, treating her like family. Others didn't like it but Uncle Jeb was in charge around so they kept quiet and ignored Wanderer. Jaime was the closest to Wanderer and she loved him in many ways too, not only because Melanie was in her, the soul too cared for Jaime. He saw both Melanie and Wanda in her and loved both of them. Ian felt sorry and appointed himself and Doc to be her bodyguard. Ian grew close to her, a little crush maybe and he was always there with her, when Jaime's not around. Uncle Jeb was really curious and interested in the stories Wanda told and made her the unofficial teacher of the place. Doc too was fond of the stories of the eight planets Wanderer had been to. A lot of them began trusting her but was still cautious. The raiders came back and was infuriated that Wanda was among them, mingling around and talking to the humans. Ian got even protective. Kyle tried to kill Wanda when she was alone but in turn, she saved his life. Very injured her was carried to the 'hospital' and Doc treated her. Walter was dying from bone cancer and being delusional, as Doc fed him alcohol as morphine, Walter thought Wanda was his late wife, Gladdie. Wanderer grew attached to the human and held his hands throughout his suffering. The raiders who opposed it was shushed when Doc told them she was the only one who could comfort the dying man. Jared came back with morphine and wanted to end Walter's pain by overdosing him. They learnt that Wanderer could be compassionate as Doc too and started believing her. One time, Jaime went out to raid with the guys. He came back injured and everyone was about to give up on him when his wound got infected and he was down with fever. Wanda, remembering how effective the medicines of her kind, suggested that they should go retrieve it. Everyone thought she was trying to escape and lead the Seekers to them, disagreed strongly but during the night Jared sneaked her out and she gained his trust eventually. Jaime recovered and Wanda became their free pass to access to supplies whenever they needed it because the souls trusted each other and wouldn't suspect their own kind to betray them for the humans. Wes, one of those the Wanda was close to, got killed by Wanda's Seeker and a plan came up. Wanda would tell Doc the secret to remove the souls from their hosts under one condition; he would the souls to another planet, the safety of the souls. The first one to test out was the captured Seeker, it succeeded and they caught more bodies to release the soul. Wanda's last wish was that Doc would remove her to give Melanie back her body and bury her soul with Wes and Walter. Ian opposed because he was in love with Wanda. Wanda was sure that he must be confused and the one he loved was Melanie because it was her body. Jared was grateful and loved the soul for her sacrifice. None of them knew about her wish to die in Earth except Doc. After she made sure that Ian was asleep, as she didn't want to say goodbye to anyone(it was unbearable to her) she snuck to the hospital wing and made Doc do it. When she thought she was gone and dead, she was brought back to Earth, not in Melanie's body but with a different soul. It was Melanie's idea when she woke up and brought Jaime and Jared to hunt to perfect host. A girl, at the age of seventeen, not too young and not too old. A perfect host. Ian proved to her that he was in love with the soul, not the host she was in. Wanda was happy, everyone was. Everyone loved her, appreciated her, thanked her, believed her because of the sacrifice for the family she made underground. After she got used to her new host, they got out on a raid, with Wanda's new body as their pass, they met another population of humans, those who weren't hosts. And one of them was like Wanda, a soul that loved humans and earth...

being a nerd

My latest obsession ; 'The Host' by S.Meyer. Twilight's out the window (naw) It actually made me cry, from the siblings love and such. Amazing book I'd say, so far until chapter 32 at least. Yeah, Melanie Stryder...Wanderer :D Very touching love and sci-fi (?)

And to people out there, my phone's all screwed up` The answering button doesn't work whenever it comes to calling out and receiving calls. The same goes to the messaging. Sorry. Especially Sya, she called the most.

I have nothing to say here so I'll post a picture and I'll go on with my daily nerdy life. Yes, I'm a nerd.

that picture was from a few months back and since I have nothing to update, I think a picture is better than nothing. Oh, I'm still stuck with no photoshop at home and all I have is Picasa so I think I'll go crazy soon. And guess what, I had a dream that the computer guy came with the laptop and the news that stupid photoshop CD I gave him was screwed up which meant I waited basically for no reason!

Now, I'm just hanging at home. Watching anime, being lifeless and avoiding to go out because I want to save money ! I need money ! I don't know why but I feel like it's time to stop wasting the greens and start piggy-banking :D I wanna big fat money overloaded piggy-bank ! Hee.

Well, Sya. During my absolutely boring days at home, I sketched your prom dress ! IT TURNED OUT REALLY GOOD, I gotta say. (Claps for me) And besides that your present is a pain in the ass, it's so hard to ******** (I'm not spoiling the surprise =.=) It's killing hands (clue) and my soul (not a clue) . TV shows are getting awesome-r and it's hard for me to concentrate on your pressie (not a clue too ! )

Ooh, we have guppies at home. Ten adult guppies, a few 'teenager' guppies and THIRTY fry(s) a.k.a baby guppies ! I found out they are some sort of live-bearers. They bear their eggs inside them and give birth to live babies`! D-I-S-C-O-V-E-R-Y ! Yeah, I'm the toad under the coconut shell (HAHAHAHAHA) I had no idea they live-bear! So yeah, and they grow so fast, it's so hard to catch up ! xD Oh, either the females give out some pheromones during their pregnancy or the male guppies are perverted, they keep chasing the females. Perv!

no offence..[don't read if you're a hardcore vampire fan]

Don't get me wrong, I love vampire movies but now, their getting too overrated. Aw, come on. Don't tell me I'm bull-crapping here. I'm not, see how many vampire novels are being friggin' published. Vampire Diaries, House of Night and all the yada yada's. I'm not gonna rate Darren Shan because hr came way back. Let's take Van Helsing and Interview with the Vampire. Nothing like ; having the whole teen reads suddenly conquered by a bunch of other vampire novels. Overrated. Oh, I watched New Moon, I've got to say Chris Weitz is way better than Catherine Hardwicke. After the movie, I think I'll either go with only the books or only the movies. It pretty much sucks that sometimes the movie ruins your own fantasy of the settings and such from the book. I didn't expect the whole cliff and the Swan's house. My imagination is better. :D It's so hard to pay attention because some parts from the book won't be there in the movie when you probably thought it should. Taylor was a cute handsome young man but sadly, the whole being buff and all ruined the pretty smile face. I'd still buy the movie but don't worry, I don't squeal or shriek whenever I hear the word 'Twilight' . I'm no crazy fan girl, Penny is normal.
Stephanie Meyer ain't that bad, The Host was awesome. They should make THAT into a movie and Sophia Bush is sooo Melanie Stryder material. And the Twilight Saga are meant to be kept in bookshelves, not on screens.

I went to Takahashi Cafe after the movie, Yee Leng and Pui Kuan are working part time there. Since my wallet was pretty much empty, I ordered the Ice Royal Milk Tea. Yee Leng, that ass, said she's treating, so order some more. After being persuaded by Pui Kuan, they added for me the Japanese Tiramisu. Here comes the embarrassing part. I didn't expect Yee Leng to forget to bring her wallet. She was cashless and I had to pay for the so expensive Tiramisu. I didn't have enough money! I called my sister to follow my dad to come and pay but luckily, last minute-ly, Yee Leng got some money and paid the bill. So close! It was so embarrassing, my sister couldn't stop laughing on the other line. I thought I had to wash the dishes to pay. TTATT. yeah, laugh your ass off now. No pictures because I don't have the cable and the laptop ain't back yet. Sorry.
