Shoutouts ♥

I want to live in a world full of cliche fantasies, plus the screwed up storyline of course.
I love who I love and love is what holds me together now.
My heart has the fragile signs taped all over it.
I can make a great facade, I'm just too good that it hurts only myself in the end.

Old School & New School.

Still a little red, taken on the first night I got it.

Since I got my lock tatt, let's talk about Tattoo Aftercare :)

You know, when you sign/fill in the form at the tattoo shop; it means your tattoo artist will not be responsible if anything happens to your tattoo after that, if it gets distorted or the wound go oozy with plasma and then scabssss.

1. Leave the bandage(gauze) alone.
Don't itchy itchy hand go and touch the bandage and peel it off because you don't feel like having a hug giganto bandage. Leave it alone and start showing off after at least three hours! The reason of having the bandage is to prevent bacteria infection. Tattoo = open-flesh wound. Open-flesh wound = TOTAL BACTERIA BREEDING GROUND!

2. Remove bandage.
Yes, now you can remove the bandage, AFTER THREE HOURS. When it is covered in gauze you need to make sure it is wet before you peel it off or else the skin will peel off together and will cause you terrible pain. So damp it with water before peeling.

3. Wash your tattoo.
After removing the bandage, please wash your tattoo, because it's all blood and dead-skin covered already. Wash it with lukewarm water and normal soap; if can antibacterial soap. When you wash it, your tattoo might feel slick and slippery; it's a kind of plasma. This plasma creates scab. Gently massage your tattoo to clean it, if it does not come off day one, leave it 'til day two, don't rub too hard or else the ink might RUN! Avoid using your loofahs on your tattoo.

Pat dry with towel or blow-dry it, remember not to scratch or WIPE it dry.

4. Ointment & Moisturize!
Apply a very thin layer of ointment on your tattoo, tap it on, don't rub! I repeat, don't rub! And the reason why you want only a thin layer is so that you keep it moist, not drown it with too much ointment and end up getting 'pimples' over your tattoo! The ink will disappear along with the 'pimples'.

You can use what's easy to get; such as Nappy Rash Cream: Bepanthen.
pic source: Google

Get it at any Watsons store near you, or any local pharmacies :) I got mine at Watsons for RM11.80 & after four months, it's not finished yet.

5. Shedding!
No, you don't go shed, the skin on your tattoo does. It will cause itchiness but DON'T EVER GO AND SCRATCH OR PEEL IT! If the skin is peeling off, it means it's healing, so it's good! DON'T SCRATCH IT! If it is itchy, pat it. If it feels dry, put ointment. If it is not dry, it will not itch.

That's all the aftercare you can get from me! Colored tattoos are usually easier to take care off because of the less in contrast with your skin compared to black colored tattoos, like the tribal butterfly of mine. If the color comes out, go get a touch up. Usually touch-ups cost you a 'lil but mine is free. Well, you should touch up sometimes, it gives your tattoo the 3D feel. ;)

Have a nice day people! :)

Vitamin C!

pennyqi.blogspot.com!

Because I came home smelling like oranges; after peeling oranges for tomorrow morning, very randomly I decided to talk about peeling oranges! :) More like how to peel them! Peeling oranges is a part of my daily routines at Brewster's, besides washing and setting up things and serving and taking orders and giving back the customers' change. Whoa, rambling, STOP.

I'm gonna give you some really childish scribbles to make things easier, because, you know; sometimes explaining is a little too h-a-r-d.

Tools needed:
-A stainless steel spoon
-An orange
-A knife

So, let's get the peeling started! :D

1. Cut off the top and bottom part of the orange (as shown in scribbles above). Cut about 5 cm's off, just nice enough for it to stand vertically.

2. Then, make it stand and cut gently as shown (the two vertical lines). CAUTION: Don't cut it through and through. Instead, cut as thick as the peel, try not to cut the juicy flesh inside. Use force nice enough like how you would pet your small little bunnies or kitties. If you're a pet abuser, don't try this at home ;o
3. Take the spoon and stab it right between the peel and the flesh, above the white fleshy layer* that we all tend to not eat because it is a little bitter. With that, you tug the flesh and peel of the orange apart.
You get me? LOL. That's how you peel and orange to juice.

Tips 101 !

*White fleshy layer= Pith
The pith actually has a lot of vitamins too! And all the antioxidants needed by our body. Erm, yeah, healthy. Of course it's bitter, just don't peel off the entire pith, a little will do no bitter-harm. (:

And and, if you roll the orange ; if makes peeling easier as the peel is 'loosened from its pith.

If your oranges are frozen, mommy left the chiller too close to freezer temperature, it hardens. Soak your oranges in water first, let it thaw/defrost.

Hope it helped, share with me how you remove them peels by commenting`! (:

Hair Curls and Early Wake Up Calls.

This was from my pre-birthday hangout in 2010.

And this is from today, 2011 on Mai's birthday! :)
Look at all the difference! Mai was all so sweet and innocent (refer to first picture) but now she's all mean and not-so-innocent! HAHA! Just kidding, we changed, we all did. ;)

Let's see what we did today on Mai's SUPER EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY`!
Yours Truly was sleeping soooo nicely until she got a phone call at 9am! Sharp right at nine-o'clock. Only when my Man Man Ha Ni ringtone went off that I realized I have three unread messages. And the missed call was from Sya. Messages all told me to get ready because our ride will be in front of my house at 10am! I sat right up and called Sya, she said she's coming over or something, I was still half-asleep anyways and I ended up taking a shower and applying my eye-makeup!

Then after another one or two more missed calls, I was ready and Mai showed up in front my house gate right on time and Sya called to tell she's on her way. I gave Mai her early-in-the-morning-birthday-hug! :)

We went to some comic book rent place to photostat some documents then it was breakfast for me and Mai at Old Town (because Sya needs to head home to pass the photostated documents to her mom) before Sya came to pick us up again to Tesco to do some grocery shopping!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAISYARAH MAZLAN!
You know I love you no matter how crazy you tend to get and how hyper you are! That's what makes you, you. Tough you have new friend and I do too, but I want you to know that you can always come to my place, my messy room and sit there and tell me your problems. But please give me a call first so that I'm awake and you're not talking to a dead/sleeping log. You can always borrow my eyeliner, but remember, I don't have mascara. You can always give me a call and we'll go out for a drink, I'll do the drinking (wink wink) and I'll make sure you get your iced-chocolate drink. You can always call me to go to the field near my place and we can talk and sing and jump all around all you want ! Love you hon, may God bless you

Okay, you can cry now :)

Ribbons & Secretarial Work.

This was from Mommy dearest's birthday where Thomas led us to the wrong place and while waiting for him to come and pick us up, we camwhored :)

That day, Thomas Dai Lou bought rice from Vanggey! Woot woot ! Spicy like no other!

Miss Fish dropped by one night! She taught me a lesson: Fishies drink seawater! & she's one fishie that drinks beer and uses tissue! :D

First Black Label night, before ! No after picture because it looks too horrible to be shown and the quality is really bad.

But here's the driving home after the second BL session :D Look at the time, 12 something in the AM!

Oh, Yours Truly passed her driving test !!!!!!! But Yee Leng still won't let me drive her car! She offered the Unser but I didn't want to drive that huge car!

Just did some online shopping and heck, I shouldn't do it anymore! HAHA! I'm one big spender!

I would love to Happy-Birthday-Shoutout here!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NAZIRUL SYAZWANI a.k.a. Cha'oi!

Necessity.

Never knew getting out takes so much planning! HAHA! It was Thomas' birthday party and Yee Leng, Kevin and I went in the same car.

Kevin was a paranoid kid! LOL! Yee Leng and I had to go through a ride full of real bad Cantonese directions, but it was cute! Really entertaining! (: The high lights were on and we passed by a police car but didn't notice until Kevin told us. Oh well.
2 Sotplaks + 1 Paranoid Kevin= Thomas' Birthday!

Later on, checked out my phone's map because Thomas' house = so confusing to get to! In the end, needed Thomas to lead the way out all to McD. That dude switched on the whole siren thing which was super cool; would have been even cooler if he cleared the road for us! HAHA!

Reached home and Dad was amused how we actually got lost around Pengkalan area and needed a guide out.

Some Brewster's pictures to do the talking.

When we had to work from morning, this would be our daily face washing routine ;)

Ah Cong's specs. 8)

I see many many foreign beers, you see?

Last driving lesson, before heading to Brewster's.

Was so bored during break time, so... LOL.
